Our Baby swimming program is offered at our Clifton Hill pool in the Indoor, heated facility. We keep the water temp at a constant 32 Degrees specifically for the babies. Our baby program encourages the Moms/Dads or whoever brings them, to be in the water handling them. We do this for a number of reasons;

  • The first being that it’s a fantastic bonding opportunity and experience for the little one and adult.
  • The other reason is that the little ones feel far more secure and are able to partake in the lesson far more if they are handled by someone they know and trust.

The baby lessons are 15 mins long as their attention spans don’t last much longer than that. Our highly qualified instructors show the adults exactly what to do and how to do it.

Our Learn to Swim program is offered at our Clifton Hill pool in the indoor and heated facility.  This allows us to carry on right throughout the year not having to worry about outside weather conditions effecting us. We take a maximum of two swimmers per instructor in each class, which allows the children to get the personalized attention they need in the pool as well as bringing in the element of competition by having another child in the class. Children often find it easier to mimic a task they are cautious of performing once seeing another child performing the task at hand. The Learn to Swim lessons are 30 mins long.

Our Stroke Correction Program is offered at Clifton Hill Indoor and heated pool. Learning the Strokes is essential for when children go to Primary school as most Schools have a gala starting from their Grade R’s. Once the groundwork of the Strokes is learned, swimming becomes just that much easier as instead of fighting against the water to move through it, we learn to use the water and to be efficient in the water.

Our Adult Learn to Swim program has been extremely successful as most adults that join the program have an absolute fear of the water. We work carefully at their own pace building up their confidence and teaching effective techniques in the water. This program is run out of our Clifton Hill indoor and heated facility.
